Ok, I haven't updated in a while. But I swear, I just felt guilty because I have no art to put up here. XD;; I wish I had, but it's been tough going. I just don't feel comfortable with drawing most of the time, and I really dunno why.

Anywho, the point of this lame, "Ohmygawd he's such a waste of time" journal is that I've been trying to draw agin recently when I get the chance, and I'm hoping to maybe post a journal showing my progress in one of Nick's christmas gifts; a hand-drawn bookmark which'll then be uploaded to photoshop and coloured. I was thinking I could make a journal entry about the start to the finish, just like, showing the pictures of what I doodled first and how I sort of led up to the actual thing?

I dunno. After all, I might not get it done for a while either. X3;; I tend to get pissed off if it doesn't come out exactly as it is in my head now. It's a bad habit, and it involves alot of shame, too.

Anywho, thanks to everyone who still reads these. ^^;; And I promise to try and get some artwork up here soon!

This is the first art post, hurray! XD I wish I had something better to post, but this is the only picture I've had time to do recently:

There are a few things a like about it, and a few that I really hate. I didn't finish it because the latter heavily outweighed the former, but I feel I did accomplish learning a few new techniques. One thing I hated was trying to get a pose which wasn't too difficult to do, but also looked good. And I failed, miserably. XD

Ah well, it's one more step. ^^ I'm hoping that maybe I can do some pixel art soon, or something more exciting. Drawing has just taken a little bit of a backseat right now, since I have other, more important things to work on.

06/9/07 - The First Day

Hello everyone who I've bugged to check out my new journal. I'm Huggsy Bear, as you already know, and I'm a struggling artist.

This journal is here so that I might better the way I draw, in both what I draw and how I draw it. I promise I won't ramble too much when I post here, except for brief explanations of the pictures I post. In coincidental preperation for starting this LJ, I've bought a new sketchbook, which I'm going to fill with pictures that I'll post here. :)

I hope you'll enjoy the art I put up, and don't think I'm too big-headed for devoting a LJ just to what I like to do. XD I hope this LJ one day helps me achieve my ambition and dream of becoming a professional comic book artist.
